“Something remarkable happens when you know the provenance and history of a handmade bicycle…With an intriguing and striking look and design, the Asiel RF is anything but boring. Not a normal candidate on a Saturday group ride, the Formigli is in fact one of a kind- and the ride quality follows suit. The bike is smooth, confident and comfortable but there was never a time on our riders where the race-quality of Asiel RF was put into question. Power transfer was seamless and the descending qualities of the RF were solid. We are happy to report that the Asiel RF was unlike any bike we have tested this year and that’s most likely the greatest compliment you can give a frame builder bent on maintaining independence and individuality.”
